    GE Vernova names Claire McDonough as CFO 
    Aug 27 (Reuters) - GE Vernova GEV.N on Thursday named Claire McDonough as chief financial officer, effective January 1, 2027, tapping Rivian's finance chief as the power equipment maker seeks to capitalize on rising electricity demand.
