Building supplier Geberit sees stable European market in 2025

ZURICH, March 6 (Reuters) - Geberit GEBN.S expects the European construction market to stabilise during 2025 as an improvement in the renovation sector offsets a slight downturn in new build projects, the plumbing materials supplier said on Thursday.

The Swiss company expects a mixed market environment elsewhere, with improvements in India and the Gulf region, while demand is expected to decline in China, the company said in a presentation to accompany its annual results.

Raw materials prices would also become volatile this year due to uncertainties caused by tariffs, Geberit said.
