Geberit warns of uncertain year ahead after posting in-line results

ZURICH, March 6 (Reuters) - Plumbing materials supplier Geberit GEBN.S on Thursday said global geopolitical and economic risks had increased this year as the company reported annual operating profit roughly in line with forecasts.

The Swiss company, which makes bathroom ceramics and piping, reported operating cashflow (EBITDA) of 913 million Swiss francs  ($1.03 billion) for 2024, just short of the 914 million Swiss francs in a census of analysts gathered by Visible Alpha.

Operating profit fell 0.9% to 762 million francs, also just shy of forecasts for 764 million francs.
