Plumbing supplier Geberit beats Q2 forecasts ZURICH, Aug 19 (Reuters) - Geberit GEBN.S reported better-than-expected second quarter results on Wednesday as the Swiss plumbing materials supplier overcame higher raw material costs with price increases and cost cuts.
The company, whose products include bathroom ceramics and piping, said its earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose 3.9% to 246.1 million Swiss francs ($303.5 million).
