** Shares of specialty retailer Genesco GCO.N up 7.61% at
$25.75
** Co authorizes a $50 mln increase to its existing $200 mln

** Under GCO's existing $200 mln share repurchase, a total
of 3.9 mln shares have been repurchased since September 2019 at
a total cost of about $189.5 mln - co
** During the current quarter, co has repurchased about
676,000 shares for a total cost of $14.5 mln, at an average
price of $21.41 per share
** YTD, GCO down 44.05% including session's move
