Australia's Genetic Signatures sees best day in about two weeks on contract with Wales firm

** Shares of Genetic Signatures Ltd  GSS.AX  rise as much as
5.1% to A$1.230, their highest intraday pct gain since March 17
    ** The molecular diagnostics firm says it has secured a
three-year contract via a public tender process with Public
Health Wales  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nFWN2VW0OP
    ** Says contract to supply co's EasyScreen enteric
diagnostic kits and instruments to seven hospitals across Wales 
    ** Adds contract has a value of up to A$1.8 mln ($1.35 mln)
per annum and also has an option to extend for two years
    ** About 89,500 shares change hands, 2.5 times compared with
the 30-day average volume of 35, 946 shares 
    ** Stock down 33.1% this year, as of last close
