** U.S.-listed shares of Denmark-based drugmaker Genmab GMAB.CO, GMAB.O rise 5.4% to $22.67
** GMAB says its experimental drug, epcoritamab, met the main goal of a late-stage study for the treatment of patients with relapsed follicular lymphoma (FL)
** FL is a type of cancer that begins in the lymph system, a part of the immune system
** The combination drug was tested in patients whose cancer has returned and who have received at least two prior lines of treatment
** GMAB's epcoritamab, in combination with rituximab and lenalidomide, showed statistically significant improvement in overall response rate
** Company says its combination drug also met secondary goal of the late-stage by reducing the risk of disease progression or death by 79% in patients
** Including session moves, shares up ~9% YTD
