** Drug developer Genprex Inc's shares  GNPX.O  rise 7.6% to
$2.25 before the bell
    ** GNPX says it received a U.S. patent for the use of its
gene therapy, Reqorsa in combination with a class of drugs
called immune checkpoint inhibitors to treat cancer  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nPn9sJVL7a
    ** The patent covers methods of using the drug through 2038
    ** Company is conducting an early-to-mid stage clinical
trial of Reqorsa with Merck & Co's  MRK.N  blockbuster cancer
therapy Keytruda for the treatment of a form of lung cancer 
    ** Up to Monday's close, stock was up ~60% YTD
