Genprex up on safety committee's nod for mid-stage study for lung cancer therapy

** Shares of gene therapy developer Genprex Inc  GNPX.O 
rise 6.18% premarket to $0.95
    ** Co says the Safety Review Committee (SRC) has approved
continuation to a mid-stage trial for its lung cancer therapy
    ** Co expects to begin mid-stage study in Q3 2023
    ** SRC determined that the recommended dose of its therapy
for the mid-stage study will be 0.12 mg/kg - GNPX
    ** Co is evaluating its experimental therapy reqorsa in
combination with AstraZeneca Plc's  AZN.L  Tagrisso
(osimertinib) to treat late-stage non-small cell lung cancer
    ** Up to last close, GNPX was down ~38% YTD
