Director/PDMR Shareholdings
Genus announces that conditional nil-cost share options ('Nil-cost Options') were granted yesterday under the Genus plc 2014 Performance Share Plan (the 'PSP') to:
 Karim Bitar, Chief Executive Officer, as to 86,271 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company ('Shares');
 Stephen Wilson, Group Finance Director, as to 51,153 Shares;
 Bill Christianson, Chief Operating Officer, Genus PIC, as to 27,491 Shares;
 Saskia Korink Romani, Chief Operating Officer, Genus ABS, as to 26,690 Shares;
 Jerry Thompson, Chief Operating Officer, Genus Asia, as to 24,563 Shares;
 Jonathan Lightner, Chief R&D and Scientific Officer, as to 26,690 Shares;
 Catherine Glickman, Group Human Resources Director, as to 25,681 Shares; and
 Dan Hartley, Group General Counsel & Company Secretary, as to 37,663 Shares.
Under the PSP, the Nil-cost Options that have been granted are subject to performance conditions that relate to the growth in the Company's adjusted earnings per share over a three-year performance period. Details of the performance conditions that apply to the Nil-cost Options can be found in the Directors' Remuneration Report of the Company's Annual Report & Accounts.
Karim Bitar's direct shareholding in the Company stands at 40,008 Shares representing 0.066% of the issued share capital of the Company that is currently 60,936,794. In addition, he is the beneficial owner of 306,859 Nil-cost Options.
Stephen Wilson's direct shareholding stands at 3,026 Shares representing 0.005% of the issued share capital of the Company. In addition, he is the beneficial owner of 142,058Nil-cost Options.
Bill Christianson's direct shareholding stands at 29,153 Shares representing 0.048% of the issued share capital of the Company. In addition, he is the beneficial owner of 96,255Nil-cost Options.
Saskia Korink Romani has no direct shareholding in the Company, is the beneficial owner of 66,561Nil-cost Options and has contingent rights over 2,076 Shares as part of the terms of her joining.
Jerry Thompson has no direct shareholding in the Company and is the beneficial owner of 17,545 market value Share options under the Genus plc 2004 Executive Share Option Plan and 75,794Nil-cost Options.
Jonathan Lightner has no direct shareholding in the Company, is the beneficial owner of 53,978Nil-cost Options and has contingent rights over 8,918 shares as part of the terms of his joining.
Catherine Glickman's direct shareholding in the Company stands at 1,657 Shares representing 0.003% of the issued share capital of the Company. In addition, she is the beneficial owner of 72,130Nil-cost Options.
Dan Hartley has no direct shareholding in the Company and is the beneficial owner of 37,663 Nil-cost Options. On the same date, in accordance with the terms of joining contained in his employment contract, Dan Hartley was awarded 28,957 Shares, with normal vesting dates of 1 March 2015 as to 14,479 Shares and 1 March 2016 as to 14,478 Shares.
