Genus plc (LSE: GNS) announces the following Director/PDMR Shareholding transactions:
·    Stephen Wilson, Chief Executive and member of the Genus Executive Leadership Team ('GELT'), sold 20,000 ordinary shares in the Company on 13 September 2021 on the London Stock Exchange at a price of 5,615 pence per share, and retains 45,342 ordinary shares representing 0.069% of the Company's issued share capital;  
·    Dan Hartley, Group General Counsel and Company Secretary and member of GELT, sold 25,000 ordinary shares in the Company on 13 September 2021 on the London Stock Exchange at a price of 5,620 pence per share, and retains 25,385 ordinary shares representing 0.039% of the Company's issued share capital; and
·    Angelle Rosata, Group Human Resources Director and member of GELT, sold 1,849 ordinary shares in the Company on 14 September 2021 on the London Stock Exchange at a price of 5,611 pence per share and retains 3,087 ordinary shares representing 0.004% of the Company's issued share capital.  
Each of the above GELT members continues to exceed their mandatory shareholding requirement.  The below notifications, made in accordance with Article 19 of the Market Abuse Regulation (EU) 596/2014 as it forms part of domestic law by virtue of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018, gives further detail of the number of ordinary shares sold.
