** Shares of British animal genetics company Genus GNS.L fall 6.9% to £20.96, among the biggest losers on the FTSE mid-cap index .FTMC
** Co's adjusted revenue falls 2% to £658.1 million ($891.92 million), missing analyst consensus of £668.28 million
** Co attributes revenue decline primarily to the deconsolidation of PIC China, its Chinese porcine genetics unit, following the unit's transfer to a new joint venture with Beijing Capital Agribusiness 
** YTD, stock is down ~18%
