Wall Street's main indexes were near record highs on Monday, holding on to
post-election gains, ahead of the next batch of economic data that could decide
whether the equity rally can sustain itself.  .N 
    
    At 14:00 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.7% to
44,314.68. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.06% at 5,998.84 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was down 0.19% at 19,250.208.
