Uponor rises on rival bid from Georg Fischer

** Shares in Finland's Uponor UPONOR.HE rise 7.5%
following a tender cash offer from Swiss industrial group Georg
Fischer GF.S
** The offer price represents a 5% premium compared to
Uponor's closing price of EUR 27.48 on Friday
** The board of the Finnish plumbing and heating systems
maker has recommended the shareholders to accept the offer
** The offer price is at a 12% premium compared to rival
Aliaxis' upgraded offer of EUR 25.75 per share that the board of
Uponor rejected in May
** Georg Fischer shares are down 5.2%
