Update on the publication of the Annual Report for the year ended 31 January
2025

 

Georgina Energy Plc provides the following update in relation to the
publication of its Audited Annual Report and Financial Statements for the
12-month financial period ended 31 January 2025 (the "2025 Annual Report").

 

The Company appointed its new auditors, PKF ("Auditors"), following the
completion of its reverse takeover and listing in July 2024. The Auditors have
advised that they are nearing completion of the audit of the 2025 Annual
Report and expect to complete their work no later than 30 June 2025. The
delays are attributed to the degree of familiarity with the Company as a new
client and the additional audit work resulting from the reverse takeover
transaction during the audited financial period.

 

If the Company cannot publish the 2025 Annual Report by 31 May 2025 as
stipulated by DTR 4.1.3R. of the Financial Conduct Authority (the "FCA") it
will be seeking approval by the FCA to approve the temporary suspension of its
listing on the Official List and the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange
until such time the Company can publish its 2025 Annual Report.

 

A further announcement in this respect will be made in due course.
