against 83,643 the day before, the health ministry said, while

    The Benetton family and investment fund Blackstone  BX.N 
are talking to banks to put the final touches to a bid for

ready to launch one of this year's biggest takeover deals.

    Credit Agricole  CAGR.PA  has told Italy's Treasury it has
no plans to take control of the Italian bank, two sources close

    STELLANTIS  STLA.MI 
    The auto maker's Chief Executive Carlos Tavares on Wednesday
took a bullish stance on the U.S. market despite rising fears of
a downturn, as the carmaker's shareholders voted against the

    Italy's biggest commercial broadcaster said on Wednesday it
had lowered the minimum acceptance threshold in its buyout offer
for its Spanish-listed subsidiary Mediaset Espana  TL5.MC  to
85% of the total share capital from a previous target of 95.6%.

    Revenues at the Italian luxury group rose 19.6% at current
exchange rates in the first quarter. Based on the performance in
the first part of the year, the company confirmed its estimates
