According to a report submitted to the U.S. regulator SEC,
if the merger does not go ahead, BBVA would keep Sabadell listed
on the stock exchange for at least 12 months, Spanish online
news website El Economista reported on Sunday.

According to sources, the Polanco family, which owns 8% of
Prisa, has had to request a new waiver from Banco Santander to
prevent the bank from foreclosing on its shares in the media
