Wall Street gained on Thursday, with the S&P 500 and the Dow
touching intraday record highs, driven by TSMC's upbeat forecast
and a bigger-than-expected rise in monthly retail sales
indicating a strong U.S. consumer. .N
At 11:32 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up
0.4% at 43,238.32. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.29% at 5,859.7
and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.36% at 18,432.436.
