India's GHCL swings to YTD gains after Q2 profit rise

** Shares of GHCL  GHCH.NS  jump as much as 9.4% to 615.50
rupees, their sharpest intraday pct gain since Aug. 20
    ** The chemical co on Tuesday reported an 8.4% Y/Y increase
in Q2 consolidated net profit
    ** Q2 revenue from ops fell 1.6%, while total expenses
dropped 1.8% 
    ** Stock on track for a third straight session of gains, if
trend holds
    ** More than 721,000 shares change hands, 3.8x of 30-day avg
    ** Stock swings to YTD gains after day's move, last up 3.8%
so far in 2024
