potential buyers of the clothing manufacturer to make their
initial offers by April 10, as the company looks for
alternatives to an activist investor campaign aimed at replacing

**Paris-based Compagnie de Saint-Gobain SA SGOB.PA
announced Wednesday it is acquiring Bailey Group of Cos for $880
million for expanding into Canadian market that faces an acute
housing shortage.
