April 10 (Reuters) - Swiss fragrance and flavour maker Givaudan GIVN.S reported first-quarter sales slightly above analysts' expectations on Thursday, as organic growth held strong across its markets.
Its revenue rose 7.4% on a like-for-like basis to 1.98 billion Swiss francs ($2.32 billion) in the first quarter, compared with analysts' average forecast of 1.93 billion in a poll compiled by the company.
