Globaltrans announces
Extraordinary General Meeting results

 

Globaltrans Investment PLC (together with its consolidated subsidiaries the "Company", "Globaltrans" or the "Group", LSE ticker: GLTR) announces that the Company held its Extraordinary General Meeting of shareholders ("EGM") today, 20 September 2019, under the chairmanship of Executive Director Mr. Sergey Maltsev, Chairman of the Board.

The EGM was held at 4 Profiti Ilia Street, 4046 Germasogeias, Limassol, Cyprus and had a quorum of 178,740,916 shares present, corresponding to 100% of the issued and outstanding shares.

The EGM passed by a majority of members the resolution to appoint Vasilis P. Hadjivassiliou to the Board as an Independent Non-executive Director of the Company until the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting of shareholders of the Company, which will take place in 2020 with an annual gross remuneration of EUR 50 000 (fifty thousand).

The Minutes of the EGM are available for viewing at the office of the Company at 4 Profiti Ilia Street, 2nd floor, 4046 Germasogeias, Limassol, Cyprus, and will also shortly be available at the National Storage Mechanism of the UK Listing Authority at www.hemscott.com/nsm.do.

 

Brief biography of Vasilis P. Hadjivassiliou, Independent Non-executive Director

Mr. Hadjivassiliou was a partner in Assurance and Advisory services in PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Cyprus, from 1990 until 2018 when he retired. During this time he also held various leadership positions with PwC, including as an elected member of the Executive Board, Head of the Limassol office as well as a number of other offices in Cyprus and was a leading figure in business development.

He has extensive experience in auditing, International Financial Reporting Standards and business advisory services having served major local and international groups including entities publicly listed on the London Stock Exchange as well as in Cyprus.

Vasilis graduated from University of Manchester and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
