** Shares of GMM Pfaudler  GMMP.NS  fall 4% to 1,347 rupees,
their lowest level since July 1, in their busiest session in
over two weeks
    ** Engineering equipment supplier's Q1 consol net profit
sinks 50% to 252.6 mln rupees; rev down 14%
    ** More than 182,000 shares traded, 1.5x the 30-day avg
    ** Stock down 13% YTD after a ~3% uptick in 2023
