GN Store Nord soars after deal to sell hearing business to Amplifon

** Shares in Danish hearing aid maker GN Store Nord GN.CO shares rise 35% after it agreed to sell its hearing aids business to Italy's Amplifon AMPF.MI for DKK 17 billion ($2.60 billion)

** The consideration comprises DKK 12.6 billion in cash and 56 million Amplifon shares, the company said in a statement

** Amplifon shares resumed trading after suspension, and are down about 6.5%

** GN Store Nord shares are on track for their best day ever, if gains hold

($1 = 6.5357 Danish crowns)
