India's Godawari Power and Ispat up on environmental nod to expand capacity
** Shares of steel and power supply firm Godawari Power and
Ispat GDPI.NS rise 3.6% to 711.15 rupees as of 12:09 p.m. IST
** Stock had risen as much as 4.6% earlier in the session,
before paring gains
** GDPI said it received Chhattisgarh Environment
Conservation Board's nod to enhance capacity of steel melting
shop (SMS) at existing plant site to 525,000 metric tonnes per
annum from 400,000 metric tonnes
** Stock on track for its third straight quarterly gain;
up ~91% YTD
