** Shares of India's Godawari Power and Ispat GDPI.NS settle up 3.68% at 278.70 rupees

** Lloyds Metals and Energy LYMT.NS close up 6.42% at 1,353.30 rupees

** Companies report highest-ever iron ore mining production in FY26

** Godawari Power's iron ore output rises to 27.49 mln tonnes in FY 2025-26 from 23.42 mln tonnes a year earlier

** Lloyds Metals reports iron ore production of 21.96 mln tonnes in FY26, more than double from FY25

** Year-to-date, GDPI up 1.03%, while LYMT dropped 3.75%
