Gogoro up on plan to build battery-swapping infra in India

** Shares of Taiwanese electric scooter maker Gogoro Inc
 GGR.O  up 7.1% at $4.47 
    ** Co announces 50-50 partnership with automotive system
manufacturer Belrise Industries to build battery-swapping
infrastructure in the western Indian state of Maharashtra
    ** Cos to "invest approximately US$2.5 billion over eight
years...to build energy infrastructure across the state," GGR
said in a statement
    ** GGR expects to begin deploying battery swapping
infrastructure across the state in 2023
    ** GGR shares fell about 68% in 2022
