Resignation of Portfolio Managers

The Board of Golden Prospect Precious Metals Ltd (the "Company" or "GPM")
announces that it has been informed by Manulife CQS Investment Management
("CQS"), the Company's Investment Manager, that the joint portfolio managers
of GPM, Keith Watson and Robert Crayfourd, have resigned from CQS.

The Board has also been informed by CQS that Keith and Robert, who are both
subject to a three-month notice period with CQS, will continue to manage the
Company's portfolio for the time being.

The Board will be discussing the impact of the resignations on GPM with CQS
and is actively considering its options regarding the future management
arrangements for GPM. The Board has therefore resolved to serve protective
notice of termination on CQS in respect of the investment management agreement
forthwith, whilst those discussions and such review are ongoing. The
investment management agreement between GPM and CQS has a notice period of 12
months.

The Board will make a further announcement in due course.
