** German gas importer SEFE said on Wednesday it signed a memorandum of understanding with Canada's Ksi Lisims LNG for the annual supply of 1 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas. nS8N3XG060
** Bollore <BOLL.PA> CEO Cyrille Bollore urged Universal Music Group UMG.AS to reject Bill Ackman's takeover proposal, saying the offer undervalued the label, relied on the company's own cash and did not fit its long-term strategy. nL6N4240K2
** Home services company Apex Service Partners is nearing a minority stake sale that could value it at around $10 billion, including debt, according to a source familiar with the situation. nL6N423127
** Hospitality real estate firm PPHE Hotel Group PPH.L said it has received a £920.9 million ($1.24 billion) takeover proposal from Israel's Fattal Hotel Group, deeming the offer to fairly value the business. nL6N42410Z
** Dulux paint maker AkzoNobel <AKZO.AS> struck down a €12.5 billion ($14.6 billion) cash takeover offer from rivals Nippon Paint <4612.T> and Sherwin-Williams <SHW.N>, sending its shares 20% higher.

** Alternative asset manager DigitalBridge <DBRG.N> said it has agreed to buy ArcLight Capital Partners, a specialist investor in power and electric infrastructure, in a deal valued at up to $1.05 billion.

** Private equity fund CVC Capital Partners on Tuesday sold its entire 13.8% stake in Spanish energy company Naturgy <NTG.MC>, worth around €4 billion ($4.65 billion) at current market prices, through Goldman Sachs, the U.S. bank said.
