Gooch & Housego PLC (AIM:GHH), the specialist manufacturer of photonic components and systems announces that the Company was notified on 5 March 2020 that, on the same date, the Chairman and persons closely associated to the Chairman acquired ordinary shares of 20p each in the capital of the company ("Ordinary Shares") pursuant to their participation in the Dividend Reinvestment Plan ("DRIP").  These purchases were in relation to dividends paid on shares held in the individuals' names.  
 
Gary Bullard, Chairman, purchased 17 Ordinary Shares at a price of £12.30 per Ordinary Share. 
 
Elaine Sullivan, a person closely associated to Gary Bullard, purchased 25 Ordinary Shares at a price of £12.07 per Ordinary Share. 
 
Following this purchase, Gary Bullard has an interest in 7,066 Ordinary Shares in the Company, representing 0.03% of the Company's total issued share capital.
