Gooch & Housego PLC (AIM:GHH), the specialist manufacturer of optical components and systems, announces that, after five years as Chief Operating Officer, Alex Warnock has decided to step down from the role and the Board after the end of our current financial year.  
Alex has put in place a strong and experienced management team based around three manufacturing centres, which has been operating successfully in its current structure for the best part of two years. We currently do not intend to replace Alex and the three manufacturing heads will report directly into the CEO.

He has transformed G&H's operations function, professionalising it and putting in place a modern, scalable structure with a capable and experienced management team.
