Gooch & Housego PLC (AIM: GHH), the specialist manufacturer of photonic components & systems, announces that the Company was notified on 28 March 2019 that, on the same date, Andrew Boteler, Chief Financial Officer, exercised 17,601 options vested under the Gooch & Housego PLC 2013 Long Term Incentive Plan and subsequently sold 17,601 ordinary shares of 20p each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of £12.40 per Ordinary Share. Also on 28 March 2019, Andrew Boteler and persons closely connected to him, sold a further 1,850 Ordinary Shares at a price of £12.55 per Ordinary share.
 
Following this, Andrew Boteler has an interest in 24,331 Ordinary Shares in the Company, representing 0.1% of the Company's total issued share capital.
