rise as much as 7.1% to 388.80 rupees ($4.76), their steepest
intraday gain pct since Aug. 1
    ** GRPH shares hit their highest level since Sept. 20, up
for third straight session
    ** More than 1.15 mln shares change hands by 0609 GMT, 2.8x
30-day avg of 412,786 shares
    ** Stock down 28.7% so far this year, up to last close
($1 = 81.6725 Indian rupees)
