Great Portland Estates plc ("GPE") announces that Charles Philipps, who has been GPE's acting Senior Independent Director since 7 July 2016 will be appointed Senior Independent Director with effect from 12 April 2017. 
Elizabeth Holden has also informed the Board that she will not be seeking re-election to the Board at the 2017 Annual General Meeting to be held on 7 July 2017. 

Martin Scicluna commented: "On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Charles for his work as acting Senior Independent Director and I am delighted he has agreed to accept this appointment and I would also like to thank Elizabeth for her contribution since she joined us in 2012".
