Australia's Perenti eyes best day in about 11 months on contract with Newmont

** Shares of Australia's Perenti Ltd  PRN.AX  rise as much
as 11% to A$1.283, set to mark best day since June 7, 2022, if
current gains hold 
    ** Stock hits highest since April 19  
    ** Mining services provider says co's unit has been awarded
5-year contract with Newmont at the Subika underground mine in
Ghana for A$630 mln ($416.87 mln)
    ** Says under contract PRN will undertake all underground
development and production activities, among others at the
Subika Underground Mine
    ** Adds in addition, Newmont will acquire the current fleet
of underground equipment associated with the project and will
also be responsible for the acquisition of additional fleet for
the project    
    ** PRN has fallen 12.2% this year, as of last close
