8 April 2026

GreenRoc Strategic Materials Plc

("GreenRoc" or the "Company")

Drill contract for Amitsoq signed

GreenRoc Strategic Materials Plc (AIM: GROC), a company focused on the
development of critical mineral projects in Greenland, is pleased to announce
that it has signed a drilling contract for the planned Phase III drilling
programme at Amitsoq and has appointed SLR Consulting Ltd ("SLR") to undertake
geotechnical and hydrogeological surveys.

Highlights

· Drill contract signed with drill contractors Mineral Exploration
Drilling Ltd ("MEDL"), who have significant Greenland drilling experience.

· Phase III drilling designed to extend Indicated and Measured
Resource categories and provide important data for planned Pre-Feasibility
Study.

· Geotechnical and hydrogeological work to be undertaken by SLR,
who have been closely involved in all previous feasibility studies
commissioned by the Company in relation to both the Amitsoq mine and active
anode materials ("AAM") plant.

· Drilling planned for up to 12 holes ranging ca 130m to 285m for
up to ca 2,200m of drilling.

Phase III drilling programme

The Phase III drilling at Amitsoq is designed both to test the northern
extension of the Amitsoq graphite ore bodies and to acquire important
geotechnical and hydrogeological technical information for the upcoming
Pre-Feasibility Study ("PFS"). The present Mineral Resource Estimate at
Amitsoq was declared in early 2023 (see the Company's RNS of 23 January 2023)
based on the Phase I and II drilling programmes completed in 2021 and 2022,
respectively. The combined Measured and Indicated Mineral Resource contains a
total of 7.38Mt at 21.21% graphite with an additional inferred resource of
15.67Mt at 20.04% graphite. The planned drilling aims to test a substantial
part of the inferred mineral resource area to the north of the Indicated and
Measured areas with the aim of lifting the category to Indicated.

The Phase III drilling programme is planned to comprise up to 12 holes,
ranging from ca. 130m to 285m depth using four drill pads (Figure 1). The
holes will be drilled using NQ3 (triple-tube) system which produce a slightly
smaller core diameter than standard NQ2 (45.0mm versus 47.6mm, respectively),
but much improved core recovery if fractured ground is encountered.

four drill pads 2026-1 to 2026-4 and the planned up to 12 drill holes in light
blue and the Phase I and II drill pads in dark blue. Also shown are the traces
of the Lower Graphite Layer orebody (red) and Upper Graphite Layer orebody
(yellow) as well as the trace of the underground historical mine workings
(light yellow).

Geotechnical and hydrogeological studies

The objective of a PFS-level geotechnical study is to provide a set of stope
design parameters to confirm the orebody is technically and economically
viable to mine using the selected mining method and to enable the conversion
of mineral resources to mineral reserves. A hydrogeological PFS study aims to
provide robust hydrogeological inputs to all aspects of the mining process,
ranging from the influence of water pressure on geotechnical safety to mine
water management of inflows. All of the data will feed directly into the PFS,
which is planned to start in late 2026. An agreement has been signed with SLR
for it to conduct hydrogeological and geotechnical surveying as well as onsite
training for GreenRoc crew in data acquisition procedures.

The drilling programme is planned to mobilise in mid-June 2026 with completion
in August 2026 and will be overseen by the GreenRoc geological team.

GreenRoc's CEO, Stefan Bernstein, commented:

"I am pleased to announce the signing of agreements with drilling contractor
MEDL and engineering company SLR to carry out a Phase III drilling programme
at Amitsoq. The forthcoming programme marks a significant step forward in
advancing Amitsoq to development, as it is not only designed to expand and
upgrade our existing mineral resources but also to gather critical
geotechnical and hydrogeological data for our upcoming Pre-Feasibility Study."

About GreenRoc

GreenRoc Strategic Materials Plc is an AIM-quoted UK public company focused on
developing the Amitsoq Graphite Project in Greenland into a producing mine to
meet critical demand from Electric Vehicle manufacturers in Europe and North
America for new, high grade and conflict-free sources of graphite.

Amitsoq is one of the highest-grade graphite deposits in the world with a
combined Measured, Indicated and Inferred JORC Resource of 23.05 million
tonnes (Mt) at an average grade of 20.41% graphite, sufficient to sustain
several decades of mining.

The plans for the Amitsoq Project include the construction of a facility to
further process mined graphite into active anode material ("AAM") - an
indispensable component of Li-batteries - which plans have been independently
and positively evaluated to the prefeasibility stage. GreenRoc has entered
into a memorandum of understanding with the Norwegian battery manufacturer
Morrow Batteries to establish a regional AAM supply chain.

GreenRoc received an Exploitation Licence for the Amitsoq Project from the
Government of Greenland in December 2025, valid for 30 years, and the Project
has been designated a Strategic Project by the EU.

In October 2025, GreenRoc secured a loan facility of EUR 5.2 million from the
Export and Investment Fund of Denmark ("EIFO") for the financing of the
Company's work programme, including the construction of a pilot AAM plant in
Denmark which is in progress and expected to be completed during 2026. For the
final coating process, crucial to anode material performance, GreenRoc signed
a MoU with a leading producer and supplier of active anode material to major
global automotive OEMs and battery cell manufacturers for a Technology Licence
Agreement, under which GreenRoc can coat and test Amitsoq spheronised purified
graphite products and ultimately produce coated SPG at Greenroc's planned
full-scale production plant.

In December 2025, GreenRoc and its consortium partners DTU and IPU were
granted up to ca. £1.2m of grant funding for the project entitled
"EU-Graphite: Building European production of graphite active anode material"
("EU-Graphite") from the Energy Technology Development and Demonstration
Programme ("EUDP"), a Danish government funding programme, which funds will be
utilised to develop GreenRoc's plans to achieve a more sustainable and
environmentally friendly alkaline-based purification process for its anode
material.

Both GreenRoc and the Amitsoq Project have been ESG-certified by Digbee™, an
independent platform which provides sustainability assessments for the mining
industry.
