Wall Street's main indexes looked set for a higher open on Thursday as AI bellwether Nvidia's upbeat forecast soothed concerns of cooling demand in the industry, though a jump in weekly jobless claims kept a check on gains .N

At 10:30 EST, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.80% at 43,779.87. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.13% at 5,963.72, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 0.45% at 18,989.67.
