Board change
Greggs plc announces that Raymond Reynolds, Executive Director, Retail, will not offer himself for re-election as a director at the Annual General Meeting to be held on 19 May 2017, and consequently will resign from the Board at the close of that meeting. Raymond has been with the company for over 30 years, and he will continue to be a member of the Operating Board with responsibility for Property and Business Development.
Ian Durant, Chairman, said "I would like to thank Raymond for his contribution to the Board's debate over the last ten years, and we wish him well in his new role in the company."
There are no payments for loss of the office of "Executive Director" to be disclosed pursuant to section 430 (2B) Companies Act 2006. Details of remuneration to be paid to Mr Reynolds following his stepping down from the Board are set out in the Annual Report and Accounts 2016, which are due to be published on or around 4 April 2017.
