 Hazel Renewable Energy VCT1 plc and Hazel Renewable Energy VCT2 plc  (the
"Companies") announce that they have today published a Prospectus (comprising
a Securities Note, Registration Document and Summary) to raise up to £15
million (the "Offers") through a new share class issue.  The Companies will
shortly be publishing a circular (the "Circular") seeking shareholder approval
for matters in connection with the Offers and giving notice for General and
Class Meetings to be held on 14 March 2016. 
 
 The Offers opened on 18 Ferbuary 2016 and are expected to close no later than
12.00pm on 1 April 2016  (unless previously extended). The Offers are for up
to £15,000,000 of new B Shares in the Companies.

 A copy of the Prospectus (comprising a Securities Note, Registration Document
