June 22 (Reuters) - Below are company-related news and
stories from France and Benelux which could have an impact on
the region's markets or individual stocks.
CASINO CASP.PA :
Debt-ridden French supermarket company said on Wednesday it
had reached an agreement in principle with the French government
to defer payment of the group's tax and social security
liabilities due between May and September 2023.
Separately, French markets regulator AMF said in a filing
that one of Casino's top investors, billionaire Marc Ladreit de
Lacharriere, had become the group's second-biggest shareholder
with about 12% of the French retailer.
ENGIE ENGIE.PA :
French energy company on Wednesday was awarded a land parcel
in Oman by Hydrom, the sultanate's hydrogen development entity,
in the first step towards its plan to build an integrated
renewable ammonia plant there and export 1.2 million tons of the
green fuel to South Korea by the mid 2030s.
MAAT PHARMA MAAT.PA :
French biotech on Wednesday said it had appointed Karim
Dabbagh as Chairman and independent director.
SES SESFg.LU :
Intelsat has ended negotiations to combine with SES
SESFg.LU as it was not able to reach an agreement with the
satellite company and its major stakeholders, Bloomberg News
reported on Wednesday citing people familiar with the matter.
VALLOUREC VLLP.PA :
French steel pipe maker on Wednesday said it had signed a
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the German chemicals
group Evonik Industries EVKn.DE for the development of tubular
solutions for Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS).
VILMORIN & CIE VILM.PA :
French seed maker Vilmorin on Wednesday saidit had launched
the simplified public tender offer on the group's shares, which
will be open from June 22 to July 17.
WORLDLINE WLN.PA :
Banco BPM BAMI.MI is seeking a new commercial deal for its
payments business, putting pressure on its current partner Nexi
NEXII.MI , whose main rival in the partnership agreement with
Italy's No.3 bank is France's Worldline WLN.PA .
