The benchmark S&P 500 and the Nasdaq rose on Wednesday following data that showed slowing U.S. inflation, although concerns about the economic fallout of President Donald Trump's trade policies persisted. .N

At 11:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 0.54% at 41,208.48. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.13% at 5,578.73, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.69% at 17,556.73.
