SEOUL/SINGAPORE, Jan 7 (Reuters) - South Korea's second
largest refiner, GS Caltex, plans to shut one of its crude
distillation units (CDU) in April for maintenance, trade sources
said on Thursday.
The 150,000 barrels-per-day (bpd) No. 2 CDU is expected to
be shut for about a month, they said.
GS Caltex also plans to shut its naphtha splitter in the
first half of this year, the sources said.
The company spokesman declined to comment.
South Korea's GS Caltex Corp, equally owned by GS Energy
Corp, a unit of GS Holdings 078930.KS , and U.S. oil major
Chevron Corp CVX.N , operates a 785,000-bpd refinery in Yeosu.
