ROME, June 30 (Reuters) - Italy's state-owned firm GSE will
buy gas to boost stockpiles and help reach the target of filling
the gas storage system to at least 90% of its capacity by
year-end, a draft decree seen by Reuters showed on Thursday.
Rome has said it aims to have the country's gas storage
system filled to at least 90% of capacity by the end of this
year, in line with an EU-wide target, up from 58% at present.
According to the draft, GSE will buy gas worth up to 4
billion euros ($4.17 billion).
