India's GTPL Hathway falls as Q2 profit slumps

** Shares of GTPL Hathway  GTPH.NS  fall 2.1% to 161.86
rupees
    ** Broadcaster reports a ~63% drop in Sept-qtr consol net
profit at 127.8 million rupees ($1.5 million) 
    ** Rev from ops rose ~10% to 8.56 billion rupees
    ** GTPH set for worst session in over two months, if losses
hold 
    ** Stock down ~15% so far this year after gaining ~37% in
2023
    ** Year to date, peers Hathway Cable and Datacom  HAWY.NS  
and Dish TV India  DSTV.NS  have fallen ~6% and ~22%
respectively
