The tech-heavy Nasdaq outpaced Wall Street peers on Monday as megacap growth
stocks gained on hopes of an early rate cut by the U.S. Federal Reserve after
the latest batch of data showed signs of softening inflation.  .N

39,555.06. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.31% at 5,238.09 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was down 0.09% at 16,365.438.
