India's Gujarat Gas gains after Q2 profit rise

** Shares of India's Gujarat Gas  GGAS.NS  jump 4.2% to 550
rupees 
    ** City gas distributor's Q2 net PAT rose 3% as cost control
offset a 1% dip in revenue  
    ** GGAS, peer Indraprastha Gas  IGAS.NS  rated "hold" on an
average vs "buy" on Mahanagar Gas  MGAS.NS  - LSEG data 
    ** YTD GGAS up ~19%, IGAS and MGAS gained 5.5% and 20.5%,
respectively
