** Shares of the chemical manufacturer  GUJL.NS  fall as
much as 11.8% to 2,112.05 rupees, sharpest intraday drop since
March 23, 2020
    ** Local media, citing police officials, on Thursday

 an explosion inside a refrigerant manufacturing plant of GUJL,
located in Panchmahal district of the western state of Gujarat
    ** At least two workers died and 14 were injured in the
blast - report
    ** GUJL did not immediately respond to Reuters' request for
comment
    ** Stock hits lowest since Dec. 2
    ** More than 551,000 shares change hands by 0850 GMT vs
30-day avg of about 150,000 shares
    ** Stock price has more than quadrupled this year as of last
close, vs a 23% rise in the blue-chip NSE Nifty 50  .NSEI
