Change of portfolio manager

The Board of Gulf Investment Fund plc (GIF) has been informed by the
investment adviser of the fund, Doha-based Qatar Insurance Company QSPC, (QIC)
that Jubin Jose, portfolio manager, intends to step down at the end of
December 2023.  He will be replaced as portfolio manager by Bijoy Joy who is
currently Assistant Portfolio Manager of GIF, and who has been involved with
Jubin in the day-to-day management of the fund for nearly 10 years.

The Board believe that Bijoy is well suited to manage the fund and to continue
to deliver the fund's investment objective for shareholders.  He will be
supported by Robin Thomas, who has been on the team for over 10 years, and the
eleven-strong QIC equity research team.

The Board thanks Jubin for his significant contribution to Gulf Investment
Fund over recent years.
