Gulf Investment Fund PLC ("GIF" or the "Company")

Dividend

The Company's enhanced dividend policy, published in March 2021, targets an
annual dividend equivalent to 4 per cent. of Net Asset Value at the end of the
preceding year, to be paid in semi-annual instalments.

The Net Asset Value per Share at 30 June 2022 was US$2.0256 and pursuant to
the above stated policy, the directors declare a first interim dividend for
the year ended 30 June 2023 of 4.05 cents per ordinary share.

The dividend will be paid on 20 October 2023 to ordinary shareholders on the
register as at 15 September 2023 (the "Record Date"). The corresponding
ex-dividend date will be 14 September 2023 and the last date for receipt of
currency elections will be 5 p.m. on 29 September 2023.
