ZURICH/BERLIN, Nov 5 (Reuters) - The Swiss blue-chip SMI
 .SSMI  was seen opening 0.1% higher at 12,409 points on Friday,
according to premarket indications by bank Julius Baer
 JBPRE01 .
    Here are some of the main factors that may affect Swiss
stocks:

    The drugmaker's controlling family has been granted an
exemption from having to make an offer to other shareholders
after the $20.7 billion deal to buy back Novartis's  NOVN.S
